Mohar, 48, a Malaysian, read law at the University of Kent at Canterbury, obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Legal Studies from City University London and was called to the Bar of the High Court of England & Wales by Gray’s Inn in 2000.
On October 2023, Mohar was appointed Senior Vice President, Operations of Credence, a technology start-up company powered by TM to mobilise new expertise and promote the agility to grow TM’s digital services. He is responsible for crafting the operating model to harness and synergise internal and external capabilities from tech infrastructure to cloud advisory, IT landscape migration to SaaS implementation, and analytical diagnostics to fully managed services. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Strategic Partnership, a position he held since January 2022 in Credence.
In a career spanning over two decades in the field of telecommunications, Mohar has been leading and driving business in the areas of fixed broadband, mobile, IPTV and digital services; accumulating extensive depth of knowledge and practical experience in both the technical and marketing aspects of the disciplines independently and also in their integrated form.
He started his career in the telecommunication industry with Digi Telecommunication Sdn Bhd in 2003. In a short span of 8 years, he took on key positions in Technology Planning, Network Development and Product Management for both Postpaid and Prepaid. He then ventured into marketing by taking on the leadership role to head Digi’s Segment Marketing before capping his career with the company as the Head of Market Operations & Commercial Partnerships.
Mohar joined TM Group in 2011 and has held multiple leadership positions, these include CEO of Webe Digital Sdn Bhd, Chief Innovation Designer of Business Innovation, CEO of TM Net Sdn Bhd and Acting EVP of Unifi.
